"Virtual Artists’ Immersive Discoveries in a Virtual 3D Frontier" by Nettrice Gaskins

Dr Nettrice Gaskins' excellent article on art created in Second Life® for the PBS Art21 blog (click here to read) followed by an extremely interesting comments section.

Nettrice is an artist and educator who "bridges the actual and virtual worlds and explores how these realities can have a transformative impact on people's lives and experiences in both worlds when it can be fully implemented and realized" and is faculty/staff at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design
I was surprised and delighted to be included in the article. Thank you Nettrice.

Art Kahos - Rite of Spring- Pirats Bourbon


















Art Kahos is a collaborative group build on the theme of The Rite of Spring and began on 1st October 2009.

The 12 participating artists are : Maya Paris,Oberon Onmura, Zhora Maynard, Solkide Auer, Nessuno Myoo, Shellina Winkler, Natsha Lemton, Hermes Kondor, Maryva Mayo, Mitch Shelman, Scarp Godenot and Oxphalaver Moose.

The build will take place over the course of a month, with each artist adding 45 prims a week.
